Digital Picture of Niagra Falls

The funny thing about the question is that I do have some pictures where we went and visit the falls on the Canadian site, and it made me re-visit my past it was great. The funny part is though that the pictures were still in my computer. For some odd reason (mhh) I never got to do one of those great Book scrapping projects.

What you need to do first is to upload your picture in to your computer.
  1. There are multiple ways, either you can use a USB cable or the memory card. I suggest using the memory card, because if you sue the cable the computer may not recognize your camera, or it can damage your pictures if the camera would die during the upload.
  2. Then save your picture using the Photo Downloader as a psd.file. After you have downloaded the picture in a Subfile it will ask you to downloaded in to the Adobe Photoshop Element 7. You click ok.
  3. Now that your picture is in the Photoshop Element you need to make a copy. This is so that you can keep the original, in case you do not like the changes you have done. After you have made a copy, click on the little eye next to your original so that you do not accidental make any changes to the original.
  4. Next I would resize the picture to 72 resolution, and make sure I have Constrain proportions and resample image checked, so that the image does not look funny.
  5. Then I would use the cropping tool and circle around the tourist with the crop box and cropped out the tourist.
  6. If you are not happy the way the picture looks you can change the colors on certain things in the picture, or you can add a border or text.
  7. After I am successful cropped out the tourists and made my changes to the picture you need to save it with the file format set to medium as a jpeg. file. Always save it two ways. One is as a psd. file and name it something else and the other Save for web. Now you should be ready to attach it to your website.
