I started reading the assigned Chapters 1 and 2 and realized that I did knew more than I thought. I just did not know all the lingo. Now I have a vague idea what everyone else is talking about when they mention: URL's or IP addresses. Something new that I learned was the fact about the difference of searching the internet and searching on directories. I like the fact that you can search more focused on one subject.
Reading chapter 5 was an eye opener to me. I learned so many new things that I take for granted every day. I think I will look at a website or something printed in the paper more critically. I will go over more in detail about chapter 5 in my next blog. Chapter 6 I liked because we already went over the four C.R.A.P principals in class and felt more confident reading about them. I tried to incorporate the four principles in to my blog, which was a task in it self.
