Anyone with a computer can create a website. Is this always a good thing?

I believe it depends on what the website was created for. If you are creating the website for fun, then I think you should go for it. On the other side though, if you are planning to use your website for a business purpose you should make sure you cover all the critical elements to ensure your website is user friendly. The website needs to be accessible and usable for anybody including people with disabilities.  I am talking from experience, we own a company and I think we need to restructure our website. We did not have a lot of money to hire someone professional so we used a software program on line and did it with the help from a friend. It is ok for the moment, but I think it could use some changes.
